Today is just one of those days

when you don't want to do anything, but be at home.  I ask Michael last night if we could just stay home this morning instead of getting out.  So few Saturday mornings we stay home, because we normally get out to go to yard sales or such in the summer time.  But all week I have been thinking about staying home and getting caught up on getting some computer stuff done and just relaxing.  Actually going to read some more of my book in a little bit.

I have added a whole batch of new links here this morning that I have been collecting for weeks now I have been finding some new places that I just love.  Several are very inspirational for home decorating and I can just sit  and gaze at the pictures for what seems like hours. Kinda like I do my country magazines. Which I need to go through and dispose of some, and organize the others.  That has been on my to do list for awhile.  I might actually do it tonight while watching tv. 

While I sitting here this morning and cruising the net I found many things that I would love to do....but when I saw this I new I needed to do these things first, so that I will not forget what it is I would like to do.    First, I think I need to create myself a mood board.  Do you know what a mood board is?  It is a board that you simple put all your loves on.  There are several at Decor 8. As well as create myself a decorating binder.  See this is the kind of things I do when I have time.  I get creative and want to do things.  Guess I could carry this binder a little further and make it my "dream home binder".  How fun is that? 

Well I have been at this computer for awhile now and my phone keeps ringing so think I am going to close it.  Hope you have a wonderful day!

Let's see what else is going on with me.  My eyes are doing great. I can't tell you the difference the enhancement done for me.  I highly recommend it if you aren't completely happy with your Lasik procedure.  Don't get me wrong I am so glad that I had the procedure done, but apparently my right eye was only doing about 70% of what it was suppose to be doing.  Even at that, that was much better than what I had seen my whole life.  So wasn't complaining, but still wanted to try for better.  So like I said...I am very happy with the outcome.

Last night Michael and I met up with some friends and went to play basket bingo.  And I didn't win a thing.  Actually no one at our table did.  Boo Hoo...but it was for a good cause so hopefully all the money I spent wasn't for waste. I wanted to give you a idea of what a basket bingo is like.  You usually pay to play 20 games with 20 baskets filled (like these in the picture) and if you win the game you get the basket.  They normally have special games where you have to buy extra cards to play which brings in lots more money.  The room is usually packed.... below kinda gives you a idea of how the game rooms are set up and how serious the women are that play.   Now these aren't from any bingo's I have actually gone too, but they are the same.  Basket bingo is taken seriously here.  Usually these are played as a type of fundraiser for a family in need, a school program that needs sponsored, etc.  It brings in lots of money at one time. Now you know the rest of the story.

Life without schedules, spreadsheets, notebooks, and charts sounds utterly terrifying.
There's no place you'd rather be than in your home, caring for your husband and children!

I have spent the better part of the morning while sitting here sipping my coffee adding a bunch of new links to the sidebar. You will find them with a * . If it has two ** then it is a definite favorite of mine. I have many of these bookmarked for awhile but just hadn't got them posted. I also have many more to post but in due time.

If you don't know I am also a big yard sale, antique, thrift store junkie, and will confess that I have gads of things to prove it....but just haven't taken time to get any pics posted. Maybe I can work on that this weekend. I have found lots of treasures.

Real quick post - Meet my Doctor

Just wanted to let you know that I had my eye surgery yesterday. Seems like all I have done since then is sleep.  I am off for my follow up this morning so have to make a mad dash to the shower and get this hair washed.  That is always a pleasure when you can't get you eye wet. NOT!   With the enhancement, the procedure is a bit different than the original process, they inserted a soft contact to lessen infection but I can honestly say I don't feel it.  I wouldn't have known unless Dr. Goel told me.  He is simply awesome.  Anyway they will be taking it out this morning.   Wish me luck. 

My car troubles are ongoing.  I have a rental car, its a little grey dodge avenger.  Not sure what is exactly wrong with my car, but guess when the mechanic gets done with it today I will have a better idea of what it is going to cost me to get it back on the road.

Well guess, my eyes are getting blurry so going to take that as  my que to get off here.  I will catch ya up later if there is anything to report.  Have a great and blessed Thursday.

What a day/morning

this has been already. It all started this morning when Michael brought me into work because today I am having my eye procedure again.(Please say a prayer) So he has to drive me home. Anyway, after dropping me off, he was hearing knocking noise in the car so he ended up sitting on the side of a busy roadway awaiting AAA to pick him up. Yeppers, so he is taking care of car troubles this morning and then picking me up around lunch for my appt. Is this a sign? He finally got the car over to a rental car establishment and got a rental car for me to drive the rest of the week, but we are going to have to come down and pick up the car and tow it to closer to home, and have a mechanic check it out. I pray it isn't anything major just a gasket or something. (Could you add that to your prayer list too?)

Makes me wish I could just be at home and take a hot shower/bath and cozy up and read. Speaking of bathing/showering, I found a product a few months back that I absolutely love. Have you tried this? Johnson and Johnson, Melt away Stress. If you haven't, try it. Smells wonderful and it is so smooth going on. I got it as a trial in something, and loved it so much that I use it daily.

Off to church I go

in just a few minutes, I wanted to drop a little note to say hi and wish you all a blessed Sunday. 

Today is full of errands after church.  Got to make a stop at Wally's world to exchange some things and then on to Kohl's for some shopping.  I need some shorts in the most desperate way.  Just when I was praising myself on losing 5 lbs, I think I have gain every bit of it back and then some.  Enough to get a girl down.  After that stop we need to drop some things off at Michael's office, then to pick up a car for Tori to look at, all this before we have to pick her up at the school from cheer camp at 3:00.  Afterwards, head home to help her get ready to go to her dads, as she is moving to his house for the summer because of her new job.  She got a new job in a salon there this summer and since gas is what it is, it is much closer for her to drive from there.  So I will not be see her everyday.  That is going to be too weird.

Anyhow, I will try to get by soon to visit.  Have a great day.
