Good Morning friends, this week as I have been thinking about what I am thankful for I am reminded that this is Easter and Holy week. And have much to be thankful for. Jesus going to the cross for my sins….is there any greater love. Thank you, God!
And as much as I am thankful to God for sending us his son, Jesus, and I am….. I’m also thankful for some of the traditions that go along with it.
The one that I am so giddy over this week is “Our Family Easter Meal”. Mainly because it is a time for our family to come together and share a meal. And make more memories. Which is a rarity these days, unfortunately….so I have been combing through recipes books, and blogs looking for a new menu item to try, making sure I keep the “old favorites”.
I can’t tell you how thankful I am that I will get to share this day with ALL my children this year. I am so excited I’m like a little kid in a candy store.
If you would like to see what others are thankful for this week join us.
John 10:28-30“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com. Copyright (C) . That is great that you get to be with your whole family. That is a sweet time. I love your blog. It is so cute. I can't wait to get some decorating tips as I search your blog. I love decorating-I just wish I could get WHAT I decorate actually clean and finish my projects :)
We get to see all of our kids and their spouses this weekend, too, although we have to drive 2+ hours to do it. That doesn't happen very often. Your ham looks just like ours-yummy! We'll add homemade biscuits, and taters, and some delish dessert, too. Have a wonderful time with your family, Cindy, and thanks for your visit. blessings, k

What a difference three days makes. We go from honoring His torturous death to praising Him gloriously! It's an emotional roller coaster, but without it there is NO HOPE!
Enjoy your celebration!
Love your new home.... Great post.. I hope your Easter was astonishing. See you this Thursday. Hugs, Lynn
